Following the first release of the lambing percentage calculator we have had many ideas on what to provide next. Below you will see four priorities. It would help us if you could choose two of the four as the next areas to work on. Once you have selected your priorities you will see a response showing how others have voted. We aim to provide a new release in the next month based on your needs.

Which two new features would you like to see developed next?

  1. Production efficiency

    Allow farmers to provide their own data for kilos of meat and/or wool produced per hectare, (adjusted for changes in liveweight of stock on hand or increased numbers).

    Create a new chart to allow the farmer to compare their farm net profit against comparable distribution.

  3. Monitor pasture growth rates

    Display pasture growth rates from selected Beef and Lamb project farms around NZ, updated weekly.

  4. Improve the lamb calculator

    Include additional input fields to record number of ewes put to the ram, number scanned ewes noting single, twin, triplets and drys.
